Annual Progress Evaluation Tests

Towards the end of a student's second semester of NILD Educational Therapy with THINK BIG a series of three evaluations will be performed to measure growth.

The fees for the following services are included in the cost of your sessions.

  • administration of the Woodcock-Johnson V Tests of Achievement

  • administration of the Gray Oral Reading Test

  • administration of the NILD Informal Battery

  • a progress report of results

  • a parent conference to discuss results

Woodcock-Johnson V

$200

We include the full NILD battery of Woodcock-Johnson V Tests of Achievement; standard tests 1-11 and extended tests of reading recall, word reading fluency, reading vocabulary - synonyms and antonyms. These tests assess key academic skills in reading, math, and writing and provide a detailed understanding of a child's strengths and areas for improvement. By using these results, we can create tailored educational plans that address specific needs, ensuring your child receives the support they need to succeed. THINK BIG will review the resuls with parents.

GORT-5 (Gray Oral reading Test)

$150

The GORT-5 evaluates a child's reading abilities by measuring fluency, accuracy, rate, and comprehension. This test is for ages 6-18 and helps identify specific reading challenges and provides insight into your child's reading strengths and weaknesses. The results are used to inform the individualization of the NILD Educational Therapy program, ensuring your child receives tailored interventions that enhance their reading skills and overall academic success. THINK BIG will review the results with parents.

NILD Informal Testing

Included in Educational Therapy Program

The NILD Informal Tests are a set of assessments designed to evaluate various cognitive and academic skills, such as auditory processing, visual perception, memory, and math sense. These tests provide a comprehensive understanding of how your child learns and processes information. By identifying strengths and areas for improvement, the results inform the individualization of the NILD Educational Therapy program, allowing for tailored interventions that target your child's unique academic needs and support their overall academic growth.
